Our Junior Golf Academy programme runs throughout the school term, the cost is just £49.95 per month. The monthly payments cover 36 sessions in a calendar year and payments are processed on the 3rd of the month to cover the upcoming month.
To join the Academy we require a one-off payment of £44.95 which will provide your child with the Welcome Pack; folder, cap and badges to take part in the programme.

Andrew Simmonds
Director of Coaching
An expert in golf coaching, Andrew is currently managing multiple academies in the South of England, and over the past few years has written coaching programmes for the largest owner of golf clubs in the United States.
Andrew has recently taken on the role of Director of Coaching at Pyrford Lakes. His busy schedule means he is only delivering coaching two days per week, on a Friday and Saturday. If you are looking to achieve your next goal, Andrew’s goal based approach to improvement is guaranteed to get your there.

Matt Chivers
PGA Professional
Matt became a golf professional in 2021 starting his career at The Richmond Golf Club and is making a return to Pyrford after previously working in the pro shop. He has extensively taught all levels during this period and also still enjoys playing competitively in tournaments within the South region of the PGA.
With a genuine passion for the game Matt strives to help his students technically but also practically. Matt aims to focus on manageable goals with his students that range from beginners to highly skilled.
Andrew Blackman
PGA Professional
Andrew turned Professional in 1995 and in the 1999/2000 intake I achieved the prestigious status of being in the ‘Top 10’ Trainees of the Year in Great Britain and Ireland and was awarded a Titleist and Footjoy Scholarship.
I’ve been at Pyrford Lakes in picturesque Surrey as Head Golf Professional since 2004. Prior to Pyrford I coached at Surrey Golf and Fitness and was full time coach at Merrist Wood Golf Club coaching the HND Golf Study Students with handicaps ranging from plus 4 to 9.
Since then, I have worked with and studied the teachings of some of the best coaches in the world through the PGA at training courses and seminars and my own experiences.
